JLPT BC 14 | Test Results and July Test Info

JLPT results july testIf you are anything like me you are eagerly checking your mail box every time you come home from work. Tis the season for JLPT results to come back. I took the N3 last December on my way to N2 this July. I’m pretty confident I passed, but I’d still like to get confirmation. After all, you never know.

For most of you in Japan, you will get your results in mid-February, which actually means about the second week of February. According to the official website they are mailed out on the 10th.  That’s when I got mine last year at least. For those outside of Japan, you might get it a little later. I heard most places get it back in mid-March. That’s how it used to be in Japan. That just seems too long for me. It’s only a simple mark sheet they need to grade.

Anyway, as for the July test. It’s only available in select areas. For the full list of places where the test will be available, be sure to check the official website or contact the organization that is conducting the test in your area. I know that the official list can sometimes be wrong. I’ve heard there is a July test in Germany, but it’s not on the official list, so be sure to check with your organization.

Applications for the July test will be available from March 24th to April 28th.  And the test will be on July 3rd, a Sunday.

Action Steps –

1) Have you heard anything about your area that is different from this?  When are you expecting your results?  Let me know what country you took the test in and when you expect the results in the comments.

P.S. I’m now in iTunes.  If you like the podcast, please be sure to visit iTunes and leave me a review.  If you have comments or suggestions for the podcast, by all means let me know in the comments below or contact me and let me know what I can do to improve the show.  Thanks!

I’m living in Japan and someone today asked me how I did on my JLPT N5. I don’t have the results yet, but I’m expecting them within the next few days. Ugh. I keep nervously eyeing the mail slot!

I know the feeling Hilary. I checked my mailbox today just in case. I’m guessing it’ll show up tomorrow. I hope I passed the test! I already started studying for N2. Let’s hope for the best! Let me know your results!

    I PASSED!!!!!! 😀

I didn’t do as well as I had hoped on the grammar, but I passed every section and now I know what I have to study for the N4 in December.

    I hope you did well!

I’m glad to hear it Hilary!

I just got my results back and I passed as well, I’m publishing a full blog post about it this weekend, but basically did pretty well. I didn’t do so well in reading, which I thought I did really well in. Seems really strange, but that’s the test for you.

      Thanks for sharing the results!
